Being 'Atmanirbhar' very important for a large economy like India: S Jaishankar
Emphasising the significance of supply chains, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar underscored the crucial aspect of being ‘Atmanirbhar’ (self-reliant), particularly for a large economy like India. Referring to businesses as the “engine for India’s progress,” he urged business leaders to actively contribute to the development of domestic supply chains. Jaishankar delivered these remarks at the 96th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
