Petrol Diesel Price Today: Indian oil marketing companies have released the latest prices of petrol and diesel today amidst the ongoing decrease in the price of crude oil in the international market. However, Indian oil companies have kept petrol and diesel prices stable on Sunday (December 4). Today is the 196th consecutive day when there has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel in India. Thus, there has been some relief for the common people on the inflation front. New Delhi: For the first time in its history, the Indian Navy has inducted women sailors, Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar said on Saturday adding that around 3,000 Agniveers had been recruited and 341 among them are women. Nearly 10 lakh individuals had applied for the available positions in the Indian Navy, 82,000 of them were women, the Navy chief said. “We have had good response, for 3000 vacancies we had almost 10 lakh applicants of whom 82,000 were women. We don’t know finally how many of them will meet all the standards because we do not have separate standards of education and physical training as the job is the same,” Admiral Kumar said. New Delhi : The US has reaffirmed that it stands with India in the face of China’s objections to joint military drills between the two countries in the border state of Uttarakhand. Delhi: Man stabs live-in partner to death, arrested in Punjab

New Delhi : In yet another horrific incident, a man was reportedly arrested in Punjab for allegedly stabbing and killing his 35-year-old live-in partner in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, the police said. The police believe that the man may have drawn inspiration from Aftab Poonawala, who is also accused of killing and dismembering his live-in partner, Shraddha Walkar. Similarly, Rekha Rani’s body was recovered from her rented residence in Ganesh Nagar with stab wounds on the jaw. She was living there with her 16-year-old daughter, reported NDTV . ISRO espionage case: SC sets aside Kerala HC order granting pre-arrest bail to accused officials

The Supreme Court on Friday set aside the Kerala High Court order granting anticipatory bail to four people in connection with the 1994 ISRO espionage case related to the alleged framing of scientist Nambi Narayanan. A bench comprising Justices MR Shah and CT Ravikumar was hearing the matter and set it back to the Kerala HC to decide the pleas afresh within four weeks, as per Bar and Bench. The accused won’t be arrested in the interim period for five weeks, it noted. The order was passed on a plea by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against a Kerala HC order that had granted relief to the accused.
