ED raids another AAP leader, Delhi Minister Raaj Kumar Anand ahead of questioning CM Kejriwal

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Thursday was conducting raid at the residence of another Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raaj Kumar Anand in Civil Lines area.

The raid by ED officials at the Delhi Cabinet minister was as part of probe into a money laundering case.

The ED officials were carrying out searches at the AAP leaders residence since Thursday morning. The probe agency was also carrying out searches in at least nine other locations in the national capital.

Sources told News18 that several Delhi government officials are on radar.

The searches at Anand's residence come hours before Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal is set to appear before the ED in the alleged Delhi excise policy case.

Questioning of Kejriwal comes six months after he was quizzed for nearly nine hours by the CBI in a related case.

The ruling AAP government in Delhi has remained tight-lipped about whether CM Kejriwal will appear before the ED or not.

Meanwhile, heavy security deployment was seen outside the ED in Delhi on Thursday ahead of Kejriwal's  appear for questioning in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
