The searches at Anand's residence come hours before Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal is set to appear before the ED in the alleged Delhi excise policy case.
Questioning of Kejriwal comes six months after he was quizzed for nearly nine hours by the CBI in a related case.
The ruling AAP government in Delhi has remained tight-lipped about whether CM Kejriwal will appear before the ED or not.
Meanwhile, heavy security deployment was seen outside the ED in Delhi on Thursday ahead of Kejriwal's appear for questioning in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
