India's pride is increasing in the world: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Vijayadashmi Utsav

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed the RSS Vijayadashmi Utsav in Nagpur on the occasion of Dussehra.

“Every year, India’s pride is increasing in the world… The G20 summit held here (in India) was special. The hospitality of Indians was praised. People from different countries experienced our diversity…They saw our diplomatic skills as well as our honest goodwill,” Bhagwat said.

Earlier in the day, RSS also organised ‘Path Sanchalan’ (route march) in Nagpur.

Talking about the forthcoming inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the RSS Chief said, “A temple of Lord Ram is being built in Ayodhya. Lord Ram (idol) will be installed at the temple on January 22. On that day, we can organise programmes at our own temples in the whole country.”

The event was also attended by singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan who was invited as the chief guest.

He said, “I can only seek your blessings for the work the members of the RSS family have done and will be doing for the country. I can only thank you that nobody has put efforts as much as you in protecting our culture and tradition in the country.”

Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, is a prominent Hindu festival celebrated every year at the end of Navaratri.

It is observed on the tenth day of the month of Ashvin, the seventh in the Hindu Luni-Solar Calendar. The festival typically falls in the Gregorian calendar months of September and October.
