Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a rousing welcome at the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi today after the historic Women’s Reservation Bill was passed by both houses of the Parliament yesterday.

He was welcomed by female party workers and leaders a day after the passage of Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam.
The prime minister was facilitated by women at the headquarters to which he bowed down before them to pay his respects.

Various party workers are gathered at the BJP HQ to celebrate the historic passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill. On Thursday, PM Modi congratulated citizens of the country for being part of this historic moment in India’s democratic journey.
“I thank all the Rajya Sabha MPs who voted for the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam. Such unanimous support is indeed gladdening,” Modi said on X, formerly Twitter.
