Delhi: Woman shot dead near her house in Dabri, police launch manhunt to nab attacker

A 42-year-old woman was shot dead near her house in southwest Delhi’s Dabri area on Thursday night, police said.
The Dabri police station received information regarding the incident around 8.45 pm.

According to an India Today report, the victim was identified as Renu Goyal. She was rushed to a hospital immediately after being shot, but was declared dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, police have formed multiple teams have been formed to nab the attacker.
“We have identified a suspect. Prima facie, it appears to be a personal dispute though we are probing all angles,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan said.

Coronavirus outbreak: 2,826 under observation in Kerala; majority from Malappuram, followed by Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Thrissur

Thiruvananthapuram : Over 2,800 people are under observation in Kerala for the novel coronavirus infection and no new cases have been reported, Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja said. India's three positive cases for the virus have been reported from Thrissur, Alappuzuha and Kasaragod districts. At least 2,826 people are under surveillance in the state as of Thursday, a press release quoting the minister said. Of this, 2,743 are under home quarantine and 83 are in isolation wards of various hospitals, a press release quoting the minister said tonight. The samples of at least 263 people, who have shown minor symptoms for the virus, have been sent to the National Institute of Virology at Pune and results of 229 samples came out negative, according to the release.
