A group of Kashmiri students observed Bakrid festivities on 12 August at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, away from home. Some of them have not spoken to their families in a week.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
