The IMD said that isolated places over East Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
