Deteriorating groundwater level force farmers in Delhi's Mungeshpur to use toxic drain water for farming

Farmers in Mungeshpur village in Delhi are using toxic water coming from drain for growing vegetables due to lack of groundwater for farming. Dinesh, a resident of Qutubgarh, pointed out that cases of cancer in the area have witnessed a seven-fold increase in the last ten years. Villagers have also appealed to the government for assistance so that they can shun the practice of using toxic water for farming.
