A plea was filed in the Delhi HC seeking directions to the Centre to frame a policy to equally propagate the national anthem and the national song - 'Vande Mataram'.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
