Pre-monsoon showers in Delhi bring much-needed relief, improves air quality; IMD predicts rain, thunderstorm for two days

Moderate to heavy rain lashed parts of Delhi and the NCR on Tuesday and brought the much-awaited relief from the sweltering heat. The maximum and minimum temperatures of the Delhi hovered around 31 degree celsius and 28 degree celsius with relative humidity of 48 percent. The rains have also improved the overall air quality of Delhi with an Air Quality Index of 114, which falls in the moderate category.
