BJP leader Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay has filed a petition in the apex court seeking direction to the Centre, the Nagaland government to not extend the Inner Line Permit (ILP) in new areas.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
