The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET which was scheduled to begin on 5 May, has been postponed in Odisha in view of the disruption caused by Cyclone Fani, which made landfall in the state on Friday and resulted in the death of at least eight people

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
