India welcomed the listing of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist by the UN, with Narendra Modi describing it as a 'big success' for the country's efforts to root out terrorism.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
