Tamil Nadu's minister for dairy development, KT Rajendra Balaji, said that due to Jayalalithaa's absence in Tamil Nadu, "Narendra Modi is our daddy." His comments come weeks after the AIADMK and the BJP formally announced their alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
