After the set-back to the Congress in Maharashtra after Sujay Vikhe Patil, Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, joined the BJP on Tuesday, senior Congress leader Deepa Dasmunsi is also likely to join the BJP in West Bengal.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
