Nagaland Cabinet reiterates stand, rejects Citizenship (Amendment) Bill; CM Neiphiu Rio says peoples' desires taken into account

The Citizenship (Amendment) BIll, which was passed in the Lok Sabha earlier in January, has been an issue of concern in Nagaland and triggered protests across the northeastern region, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Chief Secretary Temjen Toy said.
