Heavy rain over northwest India starting Thursday, predicts IMD; Monday's Delhi showers caused by western disturbance

The IMD predicted "widespread rain and snow over the Western Himalayan region, and isolated to scattered rainfall activity over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, East Rajasthan and East Madhya Pradesh."
