CBI Joint Director V Murugesan who was leading the investigations into serious corruption allegations against the agency's Special Director, Rakesh Asthana, has been shifted to probe coal scam cases, an internal order on Friday said.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
