UPSC exams: Govt rubbishes reports on revision of age criteria, says no such proposal under consideration

The Centre on Tuesday rubbished media reports which suggested that the age criteria for appearing in civil service examinations was being changed. The government insisted that there was no decision on altering the age criteria.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
