Bulandshahr cop Subodh Singh killed by .32 bore pistol: Gun commonly used by UP gangsters, not state police

Bulandshahr murder: The autopsy report of Subodh Kumar Singh suggested he was killed from a gunshot injury of a .32 bore pistol. An FIR registered at the Siyana police station names 27 people apart from 50-60 other unknown persons as accused for the murder of Singh. The FIR mentions that the protesters also snatched a pistol and three mobile phones from Singh.

Song on millets featuring PM Modi gets Grammy nomination

A special song on millets featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially been nominated for this year’s coveted music award Grammy under the best global music performance category. The song called ‘Abundance of Millets’ is sung by Mumbai-based singer Falguni Shah, popularly known by her stage name Falu, and her husband Gaurav Shah. It highlights the health benefits of millet. The song features PM Modi’s speech on the benefits of millet. The year 2023 has been designated as the “International Year of Millets” after a proposal for it was brought forward by India and endorsed by the members of the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) governing bodies as well as the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly.
