2018 saw most religion-based hate crimes, deaths in decade: Adityanath's UP saw most such clashes, followed by Bihar

With 93 attacks as of 26 December, the year 2018 saw the most hate crimes motivated by religious bias in India in a decade. In 2018, 30 people were killed - the highest number since 2009 - and at least 305 were injured in such attacks.
