Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections LIVE updates: Atfter 12pm, the EC officials in MP said that around 250 EVMs had been replaced in the ongoing elections. At least 1,545 VVPATs also had to be replaced.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
