By completing its first deterrence patrol, INS Arihant has completed India's nuclear triad. Before the completion of the mission, a nuclear-powered submarine was missing from the nuclear triad.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
