The health ministry has said the Ayushman Bharat scheme will help in reducing expenditure on hospitalizations and help mitigate the financial risk arising out of catastrophic health episodes.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
