Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Thursday said India was staring at a "demographic disaster" as a major section of the country's youth was not yet equipped to take advantage of the job opportunities that the current century has to offer.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
