The court will hear three separate pleas - of Rakesh Asthana, CBI Deputy Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar and Manoj Prasad, seeking quashing of FIR against them. The status quo order issued against arresting Asthana also ends on Thursday.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
