The morning phase of Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) elections on Wednesday, which began at 8.30 am amid tight security, concluded peacefully at 1 pm with no major incident of violence being reported from the campus.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
