The Kerala high court Wednesday sought the state government's view on the possibility of setting up a separate fund for carrying out flood-relief operations in Kerala.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
