Monday was the last day for submission of the PhD thesis in Jawaharlal Nehru University. Two other students were also barred from submitting their papers.

There was action and drama in Jharkhand on Wednesday night. Hemant Soren, the state’s chief minister, resigned from his post, and was subsequently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
